Every Country That FAILED To Qualify For World Cup 2026
World Cup qualification is still underway across the world, but there are some nations that have already confirmed they are not booking any tickets to North America in 2026.
South America (CONMEBOL)
In South America, the only team that is for sure not making it is Chile. They managed only two wins in 16 matches and are the only side in CONMEBOL to pick up 10 losses.
Asia (AFC)
In Asia
Group A
Kyrgyzstan and North Korea have been eliminated.
Group B
Palestine suffered the most recent heartbreak, along with Kuwait. Palestine was just moments away from making it to the fourth round. They were 1-0 up against Oman in their final match, but Oman were awarded a 97th minute penalty, which they converted. Oman advanced over Palestine by just one point.
Group C
China and Bahrain will not be making it to the 2026 World Cup.
North and Central America (CONCACAF)
In CONCACAF, 18 teams have just been officially eliminated:
Group A
Cuba, the Cayman Islands, and Antigua and Barbuda
Group B
Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, and the Bahamas
Group C
St. Lucia, Aruba, and Barbados
Group D
Guyana, Montserrat, and Belize
Group E
Dominican Republic, Dominica, and the British Virgin Islands
Group F
Puerto Rico, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla
Nothing too shocking from the CONCACAF list, but best of luck to all these countries next time.
